Learn About Donors
Plasma donors come from all walks of life. Many give for very personal reasons—a friend or family member has benefited from using plasma protein therapies. Others give because they know donating plasma can help save a life and is desperately needed. Some donors use the compensation they earn for their time and travel for life’s extras, such as an evening out or to meet incidental expenses, like the purchase of new tires for a car. Whatever the reason, plasma donors are providing a vital service to patients who suffer from rare, chronic diseases, and the industry that manufactures these life-saving plasma-derived therapies appreciates their commitment to donate.
